At this time last year, I was visiting my little sister Molly in New York City. It was a mostly spur-of-the-moment trip, and since I'd already been to the city a handful of times, we focused on shopping, hitting a zillion little coffee shops, and eating amazing food.
I also made another spur-of-the-moment decision and sought out a tattoo parlor that would take me last minute. I'd been wanting a second tattoo since my first one 10+ years ago and it felt like the perfect time. I was right!
I pulled some concepts based on a few things and the artist, Chuck, came up with an image I loved.
I wanted to add this to my tapestree because I still love it.
I tried to keep this one mostly cross stitch, since a few of the motifs are sort of crossing over into embroidery, and I want to keep it simple and folksy.
Hope everyone is keeping warm this weekend!
